The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a weight loss system created by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes that one should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Doctor agatston developed the south beach diet as an aid to patients with heart conditions, based on his analysis of scientific research on other diets.
Examples of good foods include, lean cuts of beef, skinless poultry, prawns, cottage cheese, almonds, lowfat milk and certain vegetables, such as butter beans, cucumbers and snow peas.

1 lb Fully cooked smoked sausage,

- cut in 2-inch chunks 6 sm Red potatoes, unpeeled, and

- quartered 1 sm Onion, cut into 8 wedges

14 1/2 oz Can stewed tomatos undrained

1/8 t Pepper

1/2 md Cabbage, cut in 6 wedges

1. In large skillet, combine all ingredients except cabbage; mix well.

Arrange cabbage wedges over top.

2. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 15 to 20

minutes or until vegetables are tender. Spoon sauce from skillet over cabbage wedges before serving.
