Put simply, low calorie diet is based on the fact that if you want to lose weight, the most important step is to take in less calories than your body requires.

The calorie defined?
A calorie is a unit of measurement for energy. The calorie is the the amount of energy required to raise one cubic centimeter of water by one degree centigrade. If your meal has higher calories, then it will gives you more energy when it is converted.

Low calorie foods include cauliflower, cucumbers, watermelon, steak and burger based meals, and low-fat cheese.

3cupsugar
3/4cupbutter, or margarine
2/3cupevaporated milk
12ozpkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
7ozmarshmallow creme (1 jar of Kraft brand)
1teaspoonvanilla
1cupnuts, chopped

Directions:

Stir together margarine, sugar and milk in heavy 3 qt. saucepan. Bring to full boil stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat, or until candy thermometer reaches 234 deg. F., with constant stirring to prevent scorching. (Candy thermometer highly recommended)

Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients, mix until well-blended.

Pour into greased 9x9 inch or 13x9 inch pan. Cool at room temperature. Cut into squares. Makes about 3 pounds of fudge.
