Weight loss info

The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index weight loss program is based around the gi (or glycaemic index), a list of types of food and an indicator of the speed with which the carbohydrates of the food type gets converted to sugar in your system. The theory is that slow release foods (ie with a low Gi score), keep you feeling full longer and help you to take in fewer food without feeling you are always hungry.
It is also extremely effective for diabetics, as the low GI foods are helpful in minimizing increases in blood sugar levels.
