The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet plan created by Dr. arthur agatston, a cardiologist from miami, usa, which encourages that dieters should be eating "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston invented his weight loss regime for people who have cardiac problems, based on his detailed study of scientific research completed on other nutritional studies.
Good foods include, lean cuts of beef, turkey breast, shellfish, parmesan cheese, pistachios, lowfat or nonfat milk and some vegatables, such as butter beans, cucumbers and turnips.

4eachchicken, breast, halves, skinless, boneless
1/4teaspoongarlic powder
1/8teaspoonpaprika
14 1/2ozchicken broth, can
1/2teaspoonbasil, dried, leaves, crushed
1/8teaspoonpepper
2cupbroccoli, cauliflower, carrots, frozen
2cupegg noodles, dry, wide

Directions:

In a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken 10 minutes or until browned. Sprinkle with garlic powder and paprika. Set chicken aside.

Add broth, basil, pepper and vegetables. Heat to a boil. Stir in noodles. Return chicken to pan. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.

If desired, garnish with fresh basil.
