The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet created by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which encourages that one should consume "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston invented his nutritional system as an aid to patients with heart conditions, as a result of his analysis of scientific research on other nutritional studies.
Approved foods include, broiled ham, skinless poultry, oysters, low or fat free cheeses, pistachio nuts, lowfat milk and some vegatables, such as chickpeas, cucumbers and snow peas.

  --- italian SAUSAGE PASTA ---
4eachitalian sausages
1tablespoonoil
28oztomatoes, can
1/2teaspoonbasil, dried
1poundpasta, cooked
  
---BACONN' tomato PASTA ---
8eachbacon, slices
1/2cupolive oil
8eachtomatoes, chopped
4eachgreen onions, whole, chopped
2eachgarlic, cloves, crushed
2teaspoonbasil, dried
1salt
1pepper
1poundpasta, cooked
  
---SOURCREAM PASTA ---
1cupsour cream
1eachtuna, 7 1/2 oz can, or salmon
4eachgreen onions, sliced
4cupnoodles, cooked

Directions:

ALFREDO PASTA: Bring whipping cream and butter to a simmer. Pour into a bowl. Toss with fettucini, parmesan cheese, salt and cayenne pepper.

FRESH tomato PASTA: Seed and chop tomatoes. Add olive oil, dried basil and dried oregano. Toss with cooked spaghetti, grated parmesan and black pepper.
