The low calorie diet

In a nutshell, the low calorie diet states that if you plan to achieve weight loss, it is important to eat fewer calories than your body normally needs.

So what is a calorie?
A calorie is a measurement of the energy provided by food. The 'calorie' is the the energy required to increase the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1 degree centigrade at normal atmospheric pressure. If something contains more calories, then it will turn into more energy when your body converts it.

Low calorie foods include boiled potatoes, capsicum pepper, apricots, steaks, burgers and chilis, and eggs.
