The low-cal diet

Rather obviously, low calorie diet depends on the fact that if you plan to become thinner, it is important to take in fewer calories than you need for exercise.

So what is a calorie?
A calorie is a unit of measurement for energy. The 'calorie' is the the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1 degree centigrade at atmospheric pressure. If a food type contains more calories, then it will turn into more energy to use when your body digests it.

Examples of low calorie foods include brussels sprouts, carrots, guava, steak and burger based meals, and skimmed milk.
